The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Regional Office IX will conduct a free webinar in celebration of the Economic and Financial Literacy Week (EFLW) on 11 November 10, 2020 at 1:00pm via Zoom. With the theme “E-konomiya: Maingat na Pag-angat,” the event will highlight how digital transformation can help people cope with the present crisis, support business continuity, and prevent service interruptions in the “new normal”. 

Among the resource speakers are representatives from the Department of Information and Communications Technology, Department of Labor and Employment, Department Trade and Industry, Philippine Statistics Authority, and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. They will talk on the different opportunities in the digital world amid this COVID-19 pandemic.

The Economic and Financial Literacy Act (RA 10922) aims to generate public awareness and engage target audiences on economic and financial literacy.
